Project Adventure

Project Adventure

Come out, get some exercise, enjoy the fresh air and discover your inner strength on our Project Adventure course including the high ropes. Don't delay because this club meets only in the Fall! On the Project Adventure course we "Challenge by Choice" by placing a high value on a student's right to opt out of any activity that is too frightening or uncomfortable for them, without explanation, whether the cause is physically or emotionally rooted. We also consider an essential component of this concept that the students learn to respect people's efforts as well as their limitations, whether real or perceived. The Project Adventure course allows students to use the full range of their physical, emotional and cognitive skills. The non-traditional athlete can excel and the athletically gifted can be challenged in new and exciting ways.
