   School Clubs / Overview

How to Join:  For most groups, just go to the next meeting and if you like it, keep going!  To qualify for membership, you must attend at least 50% of the group’s meetings/activities, pay the participation fee and meet any other requirements established by the group.  For selective groups, see the Advisor.


Pay to Participate:  Club Registration opens on October 1st for our non-selective clubs.  The fee is $25 per group, maximum of $250 per family. Go to www.sbschools.org/sbhs select “Pay to Participate Registration Information” in the yellow Quick Links box.  Once a payment is made, PRINT A RECEIPT for your records AND to submit to your advisors. Club Advisors will be verifying club payment in January.  Students who fail to submit payment receipts will not be permitted to continue to attend or participate and the activity will not be recorded on their transcript.

Meeting Dates & Locations:  Students should listen carefully to VTN, look for postings in the halls and as they become available, dates and locations are listed on the website above. 


Transportation:  A 4:00 PM late bus is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Since buses may be filled, students should have alternate transportation plans.
