Important Club Announcement:

Thank your for interest in DECA and taking the time to learn more about our offerings. We look forward to new members and the return of previous DECARIONS.

For the future goals of the club and to provide students in areas with a higher chance of success, it is required that we have a mixed variety of students to participate in the various school and competitive events.

In order to achieve this goal and to create a more equitable and diverse levels of students, we have provided caps on different grade-levels, and will review the amount of new and returning members.

DECA SBHS will allot a maximum of 150 students plus the elected officers. Returning members will receive some preference as they are able to continue they High School journey with DECA and advance to other areas of competition.

We also look forward to underclassmen as we hope that they will grow and advance with DECA and ultimately develop to become “future leaders and entrepreneurs” .Students will be able to participate in a multitude of areas that covers their interests, aptitudes and skills.

We are eager to receive hardworking students with good character and conduct as per SBHS expectations. As well as, students with an  interest in business and management (as our allotment allows).

Furthermore, early payments of dues do not guarantee a spot in the club, as the membership process must be properly followed. It’s also important to read the membership contract carefully as it details the requirements for receiving club credit.

You will notified when and if the cap has been reached, and we kindly ask that you stay updated with information on Google Classroom.
