District Issued Student Chromebooks:
SBSD requires families to sign up and make an account on "My School Bucks" to make payments regarding school related items, including technology fees.
Once you've created your family account, pay the annual $40 technology fee and save a copy of the receipt.
All families requesting a district issued Chromebook MUST have their insurance fee payment receipt or a device will NOT be issued!
Steps to Complete your request:
- Verify your insurance fee was paid at: My School Bucks (create a parent/guardian account and go on to complete payment).
- Parent/Guardian: You will have access to a receipt once your payment has been processed. Email a copy of your receipt to: seleste.mcdaniel@sbschools.org (be sure to include the following information, student name, student ID number & grade level) Ms. McDaniel will then reach out to complete your request.
- Parent/Guardian of a student receiving free and reduced lunch Do NOT go to MySchoolBucks. Please send a direct email device request to: seleste.mcdaniel@sbschools.org You must include your student's name, school ID number and grade level. Be sure to state your request for a district issued Chromebook for a free or reduced lunch student in the body of the email.
