Credit Recovery Summer School

*All dates, processes and procedures are subject to change based upon potential government restrictions due to COVID-19.

Registration for SBHS 2020 Virtual Summer School for Credit Recovery through Educere will be available from June 26, 2020 through July 1, 2020.  After checking with your guidance counselor to ensure that you are taking the appropriate courses, you may register for up to three credit recovery courses. There is a cost associated with each summer credit recovery course and it is the responsibility of the student and parents to pay that cost during the course registration process. This is the only summer option for credit recovery available through SBHS.

Important Additional Information
- LAST DAY TO REGISTER (NO EXCEPTIONS) – July 1, 2020 
- Online course start date June 26, 2020 (this is an absolute date and no changes can be made) and Course End Date – July 30, 2020 (this is an absolute date and no changes can be made) 
- The Final Exam for ALL online courses MUST be taken on July 16, 2020 (for courses finished early) or July 30, 2020 (NO EXCEPTIONS) at SBHS with Ms. Marcella in SPS. 
- In order to be able to take the final exam ALL lessons, essays, other tests and assignments MUST be completed. Also, for certain courses, the final exam may be referred to as “review test.” Please do not mistake this terminology, IT IS YOUR FINAL EXAM! 
- Computer Access – Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to noon from July 1st through July 29th in the 1st floor Writing Lab or the SPS common area. 
- VERY IMPORTANT: Any student athlete who plans to participate in athletics in college, as per NCAA guidelines, MUST take a full-year equivalent course and NOT one of the credit recovery courses. Please see Ms. Marcella to make sure that you register for the correct course or you may encounter issues with NCAA eligibility. 
- ALL STUDENTS MUST ADHERE TO ALL DATES AND DEADLINES AS THE ONLINE PROVIDER WILL NOT ACCEPT LATE REGISTRATIONS NOR WILL THEY ALLOW ANY EXTENSIONS TO COMPLETE ANY WORK BEYOND JULY 30th.
